The week that was featured Adrian's battle with No. 1 Oswego, a game that saw the Bulldogs trail just 3-2 late in the game before falling to two empty-netters. The loss drops AC to No. 11 in the nation in today's USCHO.com poll.
In other action, MSOE won its only game, topping Lake Forest, 4-1. The Foresters split their week, winning a league game against Lawrence, 6-2, on the road in addition to their game against the Raiders. Finlandia posted a win and a tie against Concordia, while Northland fell twice to Bethel, once in overtime.

He scored a goal and had two assists in the 4-1 victory and finished +2 on the weekend. He played significant minutes on the ice and was outstanding in all three zones.
-Milwaukee School of Engineering sophomore goalie Connor Toomey (Burlington, MA) wins the MCHA Defensive Player of the Week for the second-consecutive time that it has been awarded. He allowed just one goal on 37 shots in the 4-1 victory over Lake Forest.
-Lake Forest College Foresters freshman defenseman Mike Rubino (Woodbridge, ONT) earns his first-ever MCHA Freshman of the Week award for his play this week. After tallying the only goal in a 4-1 loss to MSOE, he struck for two goals and an assist in the 6-2 triumph over Lawrence. |

Plenty of storylines remain in place as the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association enters the final month of the regular season. In the Southern Division, Adrian College and MSOE both swept weekend series to remain deadlocked heading down the stretch. The Bulldogs (6-1 and 9-2 winners over Finlandia) and Raiders (2-0 and 4-2 over Lawrence) are now tied at 12-1-1 in MCHA play and, coincidentally, 15-3-1 overall. A head-to-head series to close out the regular season looms the final weekend.

The Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association will return to league play in earnest this upcoming weekend, as all eight teams will square off in weekend series - Adrian will be at MSOE, Marian at Northland, Finlandia will be at Lawrence and Lake Forest and Concordia will have a home-and-home on the schedule.
