Northland College came up big on its home ice this past weekend, taking a pair of league games from Finlandia by scores of 4-2 and 4-3. Adrian keeps rolling as well, posting road wins of 8-0 and 11-2 over Concordia to move to a perfect 10-0-0 on the season. In other weekend action, Lake Forest and MSOE split a home-and-home series, with the Foresters winning Friday, 3-2, at home and the Raiders returning the favor with a 9-1 win at the Kern Center Saturday. With the sweep, The Bulldogs win streaks improve to 37-straight overall and to 43-consecutive in league play. Plenty of storylines remain in place as the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association enters the final month of the regular season. In the Southern Division, Adrian College and MSOE both swept weekend series to remain deadlocked heading down the stretch. The Bulldogs (6-1 and 9-2 winners over Finlandia) and Raiders (2-0 and 4-2 over Lawrence) are now tied at 12-1-1 in MCHA play and, coincidentally, 15-3-1 overall. A head-to-head series to close out the regular season looms the final weekend.
