Adrian College and MSOE remain tied atop the MCHA Southern Division, each sweeping a weekend series to move to 14-1-1 in league play and 17-3-1 overall. The Bulldogs topped Lake Forest College in a pair, winning 6-1 and 5-3. The Raiders defeated Concordia University, 5-1 and 3-1, with Friday's victory securing the Lake Michigan Cup once again for MSOE - a trophy that goes to winner of the season series between the Raiders and the Falcons. The victories keep the Raiders at No. 10 in this week's poll and move the Bulldogs up a spot to No. 5.
Despite having its nine-game win streak snapped, 2-1, against Finlandia University in the opener, Marian University bounced back with a 5-2 win Saturday to go to 12-4-0 at the top of the MCHA Northern Division. Lawrence University picked up a pair of points on the leaders with a sweep of Northland College, recording victories of 5-0 and 4-2 and will play the Sabres in a home-and-home series this upcoming weekend. The loss to LU Friday snapped the LumberJacks four-game unbeaten streak.

Plenty of storylines remain in place as the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association enters the final month of the regular season. In the Southern Division, Adrian College and MSOE both swept weekend series to remain deadlocked heading down the stretch. The Bulldogs (6-1 and 9-2 winners over Finlandia) and Raiders (2-0 and 4-2 over Lawrence) are now tied at 12-1-1 in MCHA play and, coincidentally, 15-3-1 overall. A head-to-head series to close out the regular season looms the final weekend.

The top four teams in the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association standings had a strong showing on the ice over the weekend, going a combined 7-1 to keep pace with each other in the division races as we head down the stretch.
