Skelly becomes the first First-Team honoree in the history of the MCHA, but was not the only league member to be honored. The league saw three players earn All-American honors in the same season for the first time in league history. In addition to Skelly, MSOE's Connor Toomey and Marian University's Dakota Dubetz were both honored with Second-Team All-American honors in the West Region.
That brings the all-time list to seven All-Americans in league history, as the trio join fellow Bulldogs Mike Dahlinger (Second Team 2009-10), Chris Stansik (Second Team 2009-10) and Adam Krug (Second Team 2007-08) and former MSOE Raider Brian Soik (Second Team 2006-07). |

Plenty of storylines remain in place as the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association enters the final month of the regular season. In the Southern Division, Adrian College and MSOE both swept weekend series to remain deadlocked heading down the stretch. The Bulldogs (6-1 and 9-2 winners over Finlandia) and Raiders (2-0 and 4-2 over Lawrence) are now tied at 12-1-1 in MCHA play and, coincidentally, 15-3-1 overall. A head-to-head series to close out the regular season looms the final weekend.
